Despite the tool’s name, there is very little or even no magic in Magic MP3 CD Burner. There is nothing magical in burning a data CD that can exclusively include MP3 files. Any basic CD burner is capable of creating this type of discs efficiently, and they will not apply any restrictions to the type of files that the disc may contain. The same annoying restriction is applied when using the second functionality available – the possibility of creating data CDs from ISO files. Unless the image file contains exclusively MP3 files (i.e., an ISO file created using this very tool), the program will refuse burning the disc. The third (and last) thing you can do with this tool is to perform a quick erase of any rewritable disc.
The burning settings available include options like Disc-at-Once, recording discs using Mode2 XA instead of Mode 1, test writing, data verification, etc. - nothing you cannot find in any standard media burning tool. Had it been a free tool, this review would certainly have been written in a different tone, but it is really hard to justify paying any amount of money for such a limited and restrictive CD burner.
One last thing - it includes no ripping, encoding, or decoding capabilities. It will not rip the audio tracks of your CDs and convert them into MP3 files that you can then burn to CD using this program, despite the generous comment from a user published in the program's web site.
